Red-banded leafroller
Red-banded leafroller is the earliest moth pest in the Mid-Atlantic region that can be captured using pheromone traps, flying from early March until late September. It can be quite common, abundant and damaging in apple orchards in the Winchester, VA area, but is not considered a particularly important problem in other eastern apple production regions.
